The Letterjoy Experience
Each week you’ll receive a historic letter or memorandum in your mailbox.
Most of your letters will be from a famous figure from American history, like Theodore Roosevelt, J. Edgar Hoover, Sojourner Truth, Sitting Bull, or Andrew Carnegie. A few will be from lesser-known figures who witnessed important events.
Each letter will arrive at your door in our signature cream-colored envelope on fine stationery, parchment, or vellum. Restored letterhead, handwriting, signatures, and other design touches will help transport you back to the time when your latest letter was written.
Each letter will also include our signature “postscript”, an article filled to the brim with all the background information you could ever want on your letter and the events and figures discussed within.
Each month of your letters will explore four different topics. Over the course of your membership you’ll meet figures from throughout American history and explore a variety of subjects.
