Each week, Letterjoy members receive one reproduction of an interesting letter or memorandum from American history in their mailbox.

Letterjoy letters explore a new theme monthly. Over the course of your membership you’ll receive letters and memos from a plethora of interesting figures from American history. Some past Letterjoy pen pals include Winston Churchill, J. Edgar Hoover, Benjamin Franklin, Sojourner Truth, Orville Wright, and Andrew Carnegie.

Each letter also includes “the postscript”, an article written by our curators with detailed background information on your latest piece of mail and the events and figures discussed within it. It’s filled with historical fun facts that will teach you new things and prepare you for your next trivia night.
